Rewriting The Legend Demo Release

Hi all! I’m glad to say that the demo of my third project, Rewriting The Legend, is finally done! Although it took me longer to make than my previous releases, the word count for this in particular is twice as long as my other demos, so to me, it was worth the wait. What I’m hoping to get from RTL is definitely the feel of writing a longer game, since my last two projects felt a bit too short, and if I can handle this, I plan on pushing the boundaries even further for my fourth project, but that’s for another time.

Currently, the demo is only the first two chapters of the game. In terms of what the full release will look like, I’m planning to make it 65,000 words or so, give or take, meaning a total of about twelve chapters, depending on how things go. While this is only a two chapter increase from Mermaid Shores, the chapters themselves are longer. Besides the writing, I’ve also been spending more time on the artwork for RTL, so I hope you’re all able to see some improvements from my last game. It’s definitely takes effort to get better at what you do, but it honestly feels so worth it when it all comes together, so no complaints here!
